How can I register as a donor or prospective member?

The KTR Association welcomes everyone interested in World War II vehicles and who supports our association's mission. Don't currently own a vehicle? We'd still appreciate your registration, and it will be considered a donation. If you do own a vehicle, your registration will be considered a prospective member. Read below to learn how it works and what the costs are.

What are the costs?
Donors pay a minimum annual donation of €65. Prospective members pay a one-time registration fee of €25 and a membership fee of €65 per year. If you register after July 1st, prospective members pay a one-time registration fee of €25 and a membership fee of €32.50 for the remainder of the year.

How to register?
It's very easy! You can register by clicking the button below and completing the digital registration form. We will then contact you.
When can I participate in KTR events?
Participation in KTR events is reserved for members, provided their participating vehicles are adequately insured and (where applicable) have the appropriate registration documents. In addition, the vehicles must meet the association's minimum vehicle registration requirements. Prospective members can register for events without a vehicle. Members have the right to invite prospective members, donors, or third parties under their responsibility.
How can I become a full member?
A prospective member must convert their membership to a full membership within two years of registration. During these two years, you have time to restore your vehicle and bring it back to its original condition. You must ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy, insured, and (where legally required) fitted with a license plate. The final step to membership is to have the vehicle inspected for originality by the KTR Technical Committee (TC).

The TC will assess whether the vehicle meets the five established key points of originality, as described in our vehicle inspection regulations. There are no costs associated with this, other than travel expenses for the TC member who will perform the inspection at your location. For more information about the inspection process, please contact the KTR membership administration.
How does the vehicle inspection work?
A member of the KTR Technical Committee will assess whether your vehicle was actually manufactured and/or used during World War II (1939-1945) and whether it meets the five established key criteria for originality. The TC member can provide further information and advice on factors that determine your vehicle's originality using our 125-point checklist. Download this checklist using the button below.

If your vehicle meets the requirements set by KTR, you will receive the KTR Vehicle Identification Paper (VIP) and your prospective membership will be converted into a full membership. A vehicle inspection is always required to become a member, even if a VIP certificate has previously been issued for your vehicle. For more information about the vehicle inspection or to schedule an appointment, please contact a member of the Technical Committee at tc@ktr.nl.
