KTR stands for Keep Them Rolling. This is the abbreviated name of our association. The formal name of our association is: Dutch Association for the Preservation of Historic Military Vehicles "Keep Them Rolling" Mobile Museum.
KTR is an association whose members and donors are committed to the preservation of vehicles, boats and aircraft from the period 1939-1945.
Our association aims to preserve military vehicles, boats, and aircraft from the period 1939-1945 and thus maintain and promote the cultural-historical aspects and backgrounds associated with these vehicles. We do this by, among other things, organizing meetings, maintaining contact with other associations, and providing advice on restorations and purchases.
KTR is a national association. Events and commemorations are held throughout the country, and KTR can be present. You can see where and when events are happening via the club calendar .
KTR doesn't rent vehicles itself, but we can circulate your vehicle request to our members. Our members who are interested in participating in your event will then contact you directly. You can contact the regional coordinators to see if vehicles are available in your area.
Many websites feature advertisements for vehicles. Marktplaats.nl, algemeentjes.nl, or Dutch dealers like tracksandtrade.com are great ways to get started on purchasing your own vehicle. You can also contact the KTR members of our technical committee for technical advice.
Absolutely! KTR is the largest association of historic military vehicle owners in the Netherlands. We welcome new members to expand our large family of passionate enthusiasts. Visit our membership page for more information and to join.
Yes, all vehicles participating in our events must meet certain requirements. For example, the vehicle must be from the period 1939-1945 and must have passed a 125-point inspection by the KTR association. This is how we guarantee the quality and consistency of our performances. Visit our downloads page for the inspection form, so you have an idea of what we consider when assessing a vehicle.
As an association, we regularly receive offers of materials. Books, tents, parts, etc., that you find during an attic or garage clearance can be offered to interested parties through a national website. You can find this marketplace here.
