We are the Keep Them Rolling Association, or KTR. At KTR, everything revolves around keeping history alive. We are the largest Dutch association of owners of historic Allied military vehicles from World War II.
The name "Keep Them Rolling" was a slogan frequently heard by Allied truck drivers during World War II. This was to ensure a steady stream of supplies to the front lines, ensuring that frontline troops would never run out of food or fuel. This is precisely why a massive stream of military trucks traveled back and forth between the beaches of Normandy (and later from Antwerp) and the en route frontline troops.
The name "Keep Them Rolling" lives on in our association, which was founded on August 21, 1972, and now has more than 1,500 members. The association's goal is the restoration and maintenance of military vehicles such as cars, armored vehicles, trucks, boats, and aircraft from World War II.
A unique collection of vehicles
KTR's mission is to preserve historic military vehicles. From iconic jeeps and motorcycles to impressive tanks, artillery pieces, and even aircraft. Our members own and maintain the vehicles that once played a key role in the fight for our freedom.
Every vehicle is a piece of history, with its own unique story. Thanks to our members, this history isn't confined to a museum behind glass; people on the street can experience it as it once was.
What we do
Events & commemorations: We organize and participate in events and commemorations to make history visible and tangible.
Collaboration with other associations: We collaborate with Living History associations that want to exhibit our vehicles at their events.
Connecting members: KTR is a meeting place for WWII history enthusiasts. We share knowledge, help each other with maintenance and restoration, and build a strong community.
Magazine & more: As a member, you'll receive our magazine, full of inspiring stories, tips, and updates. We also offer a platform where you can ask questions and share experiences. You'll also receive our monthly newsletter, "Top Secret."
Event support: Do you have an event or project for which you're looking for a historic vehicle? We're happy to forward your request to our members, who will then contact you if they're interested in participating in your event with their own vehicle.
